Step-by-Step Instructions

In a large pot, melt the light butter over low heat. the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until they are completely melted and smooth.

Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.

Add in fairlife milk

Gradually add the protein powder, one scoop at a time, stirring well after each addition to prevent clumping and ensure even mixing.

Stir in the cereal until it is evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.

Press the mixture firmly into a parchment-lined 8×8-inch baking dish.

Let it cool completely, then cut into squares.

  • I recommend the brand Pescience Select one for protein powder, for this recipe use the Vanilla Gourmet flavour!
  • The amount of fairlife milk needed will depend on type of protein powder used. Macros are for 225 ml used.
  • I used “I can’t Believe it’s Not Butter” for this recipe and macros
  • Store the Rice Krispies treats in an airtight container at room temperature. They should stay fresh for up to a week. For longer storage, you can refrigerate or freeze them.

    • 283 g mini marshmallows (10 oz bag)

    • 110 g vanilla protein powder (3.5 scoops)- see note

    • 120 g rice krispies cereal (4 cups)

    • 180-225 ml 0% fairlife skim milk (¾-1 cup)- see note

    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
