Recipe Notes and Modifications:

  • If you prefer a milder flavor, you can reduce the amount of Frank’s Buffalo hot sauce used in the recipe or add more laughing cow wedges or cream cheese.
  • I like using Costco Kirkland Canned Chicken Breast for this recipe. While canned chunk chicken breast provides convenience, you can also use shredded cooked chicken as an alternative.
  • For added texture you can add diced celery, bell peppers, or jalapeños into the dip mixture. These additions provide a crunchy contrast to the creamy base. Please track any additions separately
  • This Buffalo Chicken Dip can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator until ready to bake. Simply cover the dish with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. When ready to serve, bake as directed, adding a few extra minutes to the cooking time if necessary.
  • Serve the Buffalo Chicken Dip with an assortment of dippable options such as tortilla chips, celery sticks, carrot sticks, sliced bell peppers, or crackers.
  • If you have leftover Buffalo Chicken Dip, consider repurposing it as a filling for sandwiches, wraps, or quesadillas. It also makes a delicious topping for baked potatoes or a flavorful addition to omelets or scrambled eggs.
