If you’re a fan of Big Macs but want a healthier, macro-friendly version that you can easily make at home, these High-Protein Big Mac Sliders are the perfect solution. These sliders are perfect for you because they are packed with protein and also low in calories. My favorite part?! The serving size is TWO sliders! That’s right, you get to enjoy the classic taste of a Big Mac in TWO sliders while still being under 450 calories!

Why You’ll Love It

High-Protein, Low-Calorie: Each slider provides a high amount of protein while keeping the fat and overall calories low. With extra lean ground beef and low-fat Kraft singles, you get all the protein you need without the extra calories from fat.

Easy to Make: This recipe is straightforward and easy to follow. From toasting the buns to cooking the beef and assembling the sliders, each step is simple and quick. It’s a great recipe for meal prep or a family dinner.

Ready in just 30 Minutes: I understand life is busy and we simply do not have time for overly complicated meals, especially during the busy weekdays. This meal is ready in just 30 minutes!

Fun Treat for Kids and Adults Alike: These sliders are not only delicious but also fun to eat. Kids will love the mini burger size, and adults will appreciate the nostalgic Big Mac flavor. Plus, they’re easy to customize with additional toppings.

Here are the Main Ingredients you will Need to Make this Recipe:

How to Make the Big Mac Sliders Step-By-Step:

Start the oven and turn to broil. Remove the slider buns from the package leaving as one piece. Cut through all slider buns at once using a serrated knife, keeping the sides intact so it forms two separate halves that are all connected (top and bottom). Place the halved slider buns, cut side up, on a baking sheet. Broil in the oven for 2 minutes, or until just lightly toasted. Change the oven settings to 375 degrees once the buns are removed from the oven.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and diced onions until fully browned, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. Drain any excess fat. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and remove from heat.

In a small bowl, combine light mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, white vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

Spread the Big Mac sauce evenly over the bottom buns.

Evenly spread the cooked ground beef mixture over the sauce.

Add sliced pickles on top of the beef.

Place cheese slices over the toppings.

Add lettuce over the cheese if you will be serving these immediately after baking. If you are making these as part of meal prep, add lettuce before serving.

Place the top halves of the slider buns on top and cover the sliders loosely with aluminum foil to prevent the buns from browning too much. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and gooey.

Remove from the oven and serve with optional sliced tomatoes and additional sauce/pickles/lettuce (any additional toppings are not included in macros).

Serve warm and enjoy!

Recipe Notes and Modifications:

  • While the recipe includes chopped lettuce, you can also add other veggies like spinach or arugula for extra greens. Adding sliced tomatoes at the time of serving adds freshness without altering the macros significantly.
  • If you are making these for meal prep and will not be enjoying them immediately, I recommend not adding the lettuce when baking as it can become soggy if not enjoyed soon after baking. Bake sliders without lettuce, store in the fridge until ready to eat, rewarm, and then add lettuce before enjoying!
  • These sliders are best enjoyed fresh, but you can store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
  • Each batch makes 12 sliders, which is perfect for meal prep. Each serving is 2 sliders, but you can always modify this to reach your goals based on your unique needs! Portion them out according to your dietary needs and enjoy a high-protein snack or meal anytime.
